Many nations have stories about village fools. They are simpleminded people who do things in a little bit odd and funny way. We studied in our school the typical stories about village fools told here in Finland. In those stories there is often a clever neighbour called Matti, who comes and gives advice.
For example when the village fools built a house without a window and tried to carry light in to house with bags, he told that the window is a very good idea to get light. After studying the old stories, we wrote modern stories of our own. Then we made short films about the stories.
